Install playready manually

Would I be right in thinking that you don't need playready with that setup? I'm not positive if I did a manual install on this build, or if the MCE installer worked this time and it loaded that way. The MP4/MKV issue is DVD/BR/UHD movie rips. Pass through works fine on the Win7 box with Shark's codecs. Enable InputStream Adaptive and RTMP Input in Kodi. 01 - On your Kodi home screen click on "Add-ons" on the left side. 02 - On the top left click on the box symbol. 03 - The Kodi addon browser opens. Select "Install from repository". 04 - Select the official Kodi Addon Repository. 05 - Scroll down and open the category. Download PlayReady PC Runtime v (x64) for Windows to download the latest version of the PlayReady PC Runtime. Go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DRM and delete all files and folders underneath (don't delete the DRM directory itself) f. Open the registry with elevated privileges. To do so, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt and then point to “Run as administrator”. 7. Install and update playready from Windows Media Center. 8. Once PlayReady has been confirmed as working, create a new complete image backup to restore to in the event an issue happens again in the future.
